OM MANI PAD ME HUNG RECITATION CAMPAIGN

Om Mani Pad Me Hung
108,000
Recitation Campaign
Prayer for the quake victims and world peace

Introduction
The six syllables OM MANI PADME HUNG is the essence of the Dharma. The mantra speaks of “the loving actions of body, loving actions of speech and loving actions of mind”.
If one recites the mantra OM MANI PADME HUNG constantly, one will develop loving kindness and compassion towards all the sentient beings. If we recite the mantra together, the joint effort will produce positive energy and that energy will transform our living environment and the world to be a better place.
The Om Mani Padme Hung 108,000 Recitation Campaign is initiated by His Holiness the Drikung Chetsang Tinle Lundrup  of Drikung Kagyu Lineage (www.drikung.org), and fully supported by a non-profit-campaigner, Rainbow of Life Forces (www.rolfcommunity.org).

The Meaning of OM MANI PADME HUNG
OM  - symbolizes the wisdom body, speech and mind of all enlightened beings.
MANI – means jewels, represents the altruistic mind of enlightenment, compassion and love (Bodhicitta)
PADME – means lotus, symbolize wisdom
HUNG –  a word of invocation. It purifies the obscuration of hatred

I sincerely request all of you to participate in this Mani Recitation Campaign. We pray and dedicate the merit of recitation to all our brothers and sisters who suffer the most from the disasters like the devastating quakes in Japan, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, landslides and wars in different places on earth.  You can recite the mantra alone, with family or friends.  The joint effort will add to the welfare of humanity at this difficult moment of time.
May the merit of our collective effort be shared by all.
